Who Knows?

“For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11-12

Who Knows?

When it comes to what matters most – to what is truth and is perfect wisdom, the reality is, only God knows. He’s the only One who can fully comprehend His own thoughts.  So – in order that we might know Him better and grow in wisdom, we are given the Holy Spirit as a daily presence in our lives to impart this truth to us. He is the very presence of the Living God that resides in us after salvation.

Do we seek Him? Do we listen? Do we obey and follow? Are we reading His written Word to us and asking the Holy Spirit to pierce our hearts, lead us, and make us more like Jesus?

Commit today to seek Him with your whole heart. He will make Himself known and real to you, change you, and give you amazing wisdom and direction for daily living.

Holy and Amazing God – It’s hard to comprehend that I am literally given Your Spirit to dwell in me and help me understand You, Your gifts to me, and Your thoughts. Thank You for this undeserved blessing and for choosing to redeem, restore, and fill me. My desire is to serve you with my whole heart. Please make me more like Jesus each day. — In Jesus’ name, Amen.
